ArmouredGRIFFON

Writing a short something.

Posted by ArmouredGRIFFON Sep. 13, 2009 @ 9:24 AM EDT

On reality, but I need topics to write about? I can only write so much, so if by chance anybody can open a can of idea's onto me please do so?

The things I aim to keep in mind, are.

Love, hate, dispair, the subconscious, and forgiveness. Think of it as a personal essay.

Any thoughts?

Jotting down thoughts for personal memo. Here's one! Restriction.

Nightmares, and the depths of the human imagination. The subconscious and how it is intent on rationalizing what you may think are the thoughts of others, rather then just the thoughts of your own. This falls into worry, and distrust.

Oh! Here's another one, how animals/pets can affect our lives ^.^ (If ya don't mind me sorta spamming here with the ideas that come to my mind to help ya out :P)

Sep. 13, 2009 | 9:38 AM ArmouredGRIFFON responds:

No, I don't mind, not at all! :) But it's another question whether they do affect our lives. People can become attatched to animals as they become attatched to our fellow man. Some, more then others (I mean in the creepy perverted way). I wonder what the influences are, perhaps they feel socially inadiquate? Or they need a true friend?

The Downward Spiral, where one looses hope - I notice how people become discharged, opposite from the rest of the world... Without hope there cannot be love, without love there cannot be faith, without faith there can be no base point of any relationship.

Dependancy. How people depend upon one another in a relationship or a family. Whe one aspect of either is changed for the worse or removed, it will crumble and become a miserable heap of nothingness...

Sep. 13, 2009 | 9:43 AM ArmouredGRIFFON responds:

Intresting for you to bring that up because dependency is what was missing in World War One. The keystone (America) in the League of Nations. Not only do these rules apply socially, but politically. Relationship? Perhaps?

Drugs? Ever heard, Bridge Over Troubled Water?

Sep. 13, 2009 | 9:54 AM rockleefanlj says:

Ignorance. Assuming something is true without knowing all the facts. For example: In a relationship, assuming that your significant other is cheating on you. Could easily be a misunderstanding of a situation.
I personally am greatly affected by my pet. He's been a great friend through the years, making me happy, more socially compatible, and safer.
Huh...True, dependancy is used in many instances of everyday life. It's one of the most realistic things that comes up in my opinion.

A couple blocks on Hitlers Success. Manipulation. What makes a man manipulable? Again, is it his lack of hope? Distrust? After all, Hitler killed the aquitted.

If you aim to keep that in mind, I guess I won't give you a philosophical mindfuck. Though what I say might be more of a "take notes and reform" thing from my "bullshit of reality". :p

The subconcious is basically everything we are. It's something that uses our influences, to make us who we are using other people. It's something that makes us know our fantasies. And while it's everything we are, we also don't know about it. It's hard to get to forcefully, and only seems to show in our developement as people, and can vary from the strength of the influences. Might be from animals, might be from a simple view, might be from some homeless person, who has lost everything but keeps pushing on to survive.

Sep. 13, 2009 | 10:16 AM ArmouredGRIFFON responds:

I want to have a philisophical mindfuck! :D The thing about it is, I need a puzzle. Something to aim for. If you give me a mindfuck, it'll give me more to write about. I'm going to ask the philosophy club for some idea's when I get around to it (I sincerely apologize for my inactivity) but the page long introduction looks good so far! I'll post what I have from time to time.

The thing is, this actually relates to what I said to my Critical Thinking teacher on my first day of collage. She told me that it was all about teaching someone to build an arguement. But you can't do that? I'm afraid to say I made her shut her adolecent 'yap' when I told her that you can't teach somebody to argue.

You can only revoke there own arguement and limit there advancement - replacing it with your own arguement and thus what you think will provide a map, boundaries to personal thought.

Now feel free to disagree. It'll only further me, as this is my own personal study.

On the subject of hope, the first step to failure. Is to stop trying.

Hey, if this topic is still open, you could write about how pointless ID cards are in the UK! =P
such a pain in the ass to get 18 rated games these days...

In reply to your question on my user page.
Without a doubt, Aikido, sharpens the reflex's better than any other style.
PS: 10 years of Juijitsu is awesome, nice dedication. Keep it up.

Wow, I see an Esoteric Master in the making in you. But in regards to recommendations, like I said before Aikido simply because its not so much a reactive martial art more of a pre-emptive martial art, ie: you actually get a feel for when and where someone will attack you. Also if you wish to increase speed then maybe give Boxing a go for a while. I actually Boxed from 7 to 15 years old before I took up martial arts, Judo being my first, but my boxing gave me great speed and surprisingly good footwork when needed. And this may sound terribly basic, but Squats and Push-Ups are the best exercises you can possibly do. Set yourself an amount to do in a given time, then try best your time everyday, dont do more, just go faster. Also stupid as it sounds by yourself a Hula-Hoop its the best hip work out you can do. I know it sounds weird but it really works. Its all about the hips.
